Galleries: "Nigga Beach"

This was just a beach project. Honest working class people who use "One Man beach" instead of going to the other "tourist driven overpriced" beaches in Montego Bay.They are the faces of everyman. They are the undisputable evidence of Montegonians or Jamaicans who visit our "free beaches" out of the pure declaration of freedom . They are the expressions of people deserving of being counted, yet a great part of Jamaica see them as just "Niggas" who resemble the soles of their shoe bottom. As a result these free beaches, like "One Man" and "Dump Up" have been coined "Nigga Beaches."  

These portraits reflect something that is more perplexing than the status they have inherited. They allude to my attempt at unshackling "Massa's" colonial fangs and displaying vivdly how they might like to be seen.
